Add Looker Projects

If you have more than one project within your Looker instance, you can set up Spectacles for all of them.

Adding a New Project​

  1. Before you add a new project, you need to ensure that you have an additional project 'slot' free on your Spectacles subscription. To add an additional project, see our guide to managing billing.

  2. Select the project dropdown (next to the Looker logo) in the navigation bar and click Add Project.

  3. Choose the Looker project you want to set up in Spectacles and click Create Project.

At this point, you can add Suites and start running Spectacles validators against your LookML.

Deleting Projects​

It's not currently possible to delete a project in Spectacles. To do so, please get in touch via the support chat and we'll delete the project for you.
