Integrating with Slack

Spectacles can post to Slack to notify you of runs with test failures or errors.

  1. From Settings, click Connect to Slack. A Slack OAuth popup will appear. You may need to login.

  2. Click Allow on the popup to grant Spectacles the ability to view the names of channels in your Slack org and write to public channels that you allow.

  3. Once the integration has been set up, from the Suite page, choose a public Slack channel for notifications. By default, Spectacles will post to that channel at the end of any run with a Failed or Error status. You can configure this setting, and can also choose to notify on Passed runs.
